Inside the Session
As LSPs we're used to offering machine translation postediting as a service to clients to remain competitive. But with the increased availability of free-to-use MT and AI tools, we are noting a trend towards clients using their own tools, supplying these pre-translated texts to LSPs for review, often without highlighting the fact that they are machine translations. This presentation will discuss the challenges project managers face: recognising such projects for what they are, and then defining a strategy for managing them so they can deliver the best quality for the client in both the long and short term.
